Plus, we give you quality pre-stained cedar shingles with a finish that will last for years with Cabot Factory Finish (15 Year Warranty) and Sikkens Cetol SRD and Cetol Log and Siding finishes.
Company ProfileYou can trace White Cedar Shingles family-owned and operated business back to the early 50's. At the time we were called Caribou Forest Products. We sawed softwood and hardwood. We processed quality S4S hardwood & softwood, log siding, cedar & pine paneling, and manufacturing pallets. The mill was sold in the early mid 70's to retire and enjoy life. After a couple years of not being around wood, a small sawmill was bought and a shingle mill was set up. In 1979 Karl's Cedar Shingles was born producing small quantities of cedar lumber and shingles. Now this past summer(2006) the name was changed to White Cedar Shingles. Today we are one of the biggest distributors in the Midwest of cedar shingles and cedar paneling. We manufacture some of our specialty products and buy other cedar products from other cedar mills to provide you with a wide assortment of white cedar products. People have been very happy with our quality materials and information we give to customers. We try to answer every question we get. If we don't know the answer you need we try to find it. Most materials are delivered to you with our trucks or common carrier. Most materials stay in the Midwest. We do ship all over the USA. If you try to locate us on the map we are now located in Gaylord Michigan. In the middle of the upper part of lower Michigan. We are located right off the I-75 expressway second light turn right west of I-75. Take a right and you will see our building on the right.
